Alcester Mayors Civic Award

Eddy, a Young Carer who lives in Alcester, was nominated by his Project Worker Sarah for the Mayors Civic Award for Young Person of the Year. The Mayor of Alcester hosts a civic awards evening every year and this year Eddy and his family were invited to the presentation at the Mayors Civic Dinner.

We are pleased to announce that Eddy was awarded Young Person of the Year and was presented with his award by Councillor Andrew Foster, Mayor of Alcester. This award was given in recognition of Eddy’s caring role and the support that he gives his family daily.

Eddy is very modest about receiving the Young Person of the Year Award, but we are very proud of him and his achievement, as are his family. Well done Eddy!
